We're Back.....Again!

Posted by  | Categories: News

It’s with great news that we can finally reopen the gym……again!

The government has given the green light for gyms to reopen on the 12th April.

The system will be same as it was before Christmas, members are allowed to come in and use the equipment in the gym for individual training. So you book in your time slot, you pick a bag and both me and Damon will be on hand to advise you on what to do during your training session.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
It will be easier if you book the times when you would have had your normal class to make things easier on the staff on hand.

The timetable of the gym will remain the same as it was before. This is so we accommodate the guidelines that the government has in place. Going by everything I’ve read we should be able to return back to normal pretty soon. Below is structure of how things will run in the gym.

1.

    1. Gym will be limited to 16 members at any one time

2.

    1. Students will be asked to sign a Covid 19 waiver before training if they haven’t signed one already.

3.

    1. There will be a 15min interval between classes to ensure there is enough time for people to leave the gym before the next session starts. We will also use this time to sanitise all bags and gym equipment.

4.

    1. There will be an infrared temperature check on arrival

5.

    1. No changing rooms will be in use so please come already to train

6.

    1. Students are asked to keep a 2 meter distance where possible

7.

    1. Nobody will be permitted to stay and watch unless class numbers are low enough to accommodate the extra people. Any parents who feel uncomfortable leaving will be allowed to remain but you will have to wait in the communal area outside the gym and keep a 2 meter distance from other people.

8.

    1. You must have your own gloves etc and cannot use anyone else’s equipment

9.

    1. There will be sanitation stations and hand gel available

10.

Please do not come to the gym if you are showing any signs of being unwell or have felt unwell in the past 7 days.

We will be looking to recommence our memberships on the 15th May. If this is not you usual collection date then don’t worry, your payment date will remain the same. Any membership fees payable prior to your payments commencing can be taken by either cash or card on your arrival.

Below is our current timetable. To make sure you get the full benefit of our training we will constantly review the situation and make amendments as necessary.

Reopening on 2nd December.

Posted by  | Categories: News

Hi everyone

I hope you’ve been keeping well during this 2nd down.

The government has stuck to original plan and is allowing everything to reopen on the 2nd Dec. With that being the case we will be commencing with opening of the gym on Wednesday 2nd Dec.

However, there will be a few changes due to the new restrictions. Our kids classes will remain the same because the new restrictions state people under the age of 18 can train in classes.

For our regular adult members, classes are not allowed. However, they are allowed to come in and use the equipment in the gym. So for that that aspect, our system will remain the same. You book in your time slot, you pick a bag and both me and Damon will be on hand to advise you on what to do during your training session.

It will be easier if you book the times when you would have had your normal class to make things easier on the staff on hand. Memberships will go live again on the 8th December so those who paid on the 1st November your fees won’t go out again until the 1st January.

Please text or email to book yourselves in for your appropriate training slot.

We look forward to having you back

Damien

Welcome back!

Circuit Class is going from Strength to Strength

Posted by  | Categories: News

Our circuit class K-Star Legacy is fast becoming one of our most popular classes.

Circuit classes are a great way to improve you fitness no matter what level of fitness you are at.

One of the appealing things about the session is that you can go at your own pace. So if you are already super fit then you can really go for it or if you’re just starting out then you are able to go at a pace that best suites you.

More info about these classes at the gym.
